I get a daily quote in one of my various emails.  Today’s relates to one of my problems (other than procrastination), not being satisfied with what I have.  I try take life in moment to moment, realizing the joy in everything I do – but to so eloquently put it – it’s hard! I know desire is a delusion which leads to suffering, but I am rarely satisfied with a job I do even if it is a good one.  I’m no perfectionist, but I still think things that are good can be improved, including my life.

Nothing will sustain you more potently than the power to recognize in your humdrum routine, as perhaps it may be thought, the true poetry of life.
